Clarke Constructions is very proud of its involvement in BSE Maritime Solution’s venture to bring the world’s largest mobile hoist to its Cairns facility. Manufactured by Cimolai Technology of Italy, the mobile ship hauler is capable of lifting vessels up to 1,120 tonnes, specifically superyachts, commercial vessel, trawlers and tugs. Clarke Constructions was in charge of coordinating the job and constructing the dry dock and pavement to accommodate the huge loads. Nick Roberts of Clarke Constructions was permanently on the ground in Cairns assisting with the construction, coordinating engineers and consultants, and overseeing the pavement works. We couldn't be happier for BSE on the completion of this extraordinary project. It is a huge win for Queensland to have this facility in our state. This project is another great use of Clarke's expertise in project coordination and construction know-how.
